 HOW IT WORKS

Platelets are cells in your blood that respond when a blood vessel is damaged. In addition, platelets play an important role in healing by releasing growth factors and stimulating a cascade of processes that lead to tissue repair. Platelets also assist to stimulate Mesenchymal Stem Cells (MSCs) in the skin to change from resting to active phase. The MSCs will form new tissue such collagen, elastin, muscle, nerves, blood vessels, etc., thus assisting to restore the structure of your skin and hair follicles.

Our PRP is different from most of the offerings, as we use newest technology, where “The Right Cells at The Right Concentration” are utilised to deliver effective rejuvenation. In this renowned process, the platelets must be concentrated to around five to nine times the baseline level found in your blood. In addition, red blood cells must be removed and nutrients such as amino acids, electrolytes, saccharides, and other micronutrients must be present in the right amounts.

White blood cells such as neutrophils and monocytes also play important roles in skin rejuvenation treatments. Neutrophils assist in the removal of damaged tissue in preparation for new tissue regeneration. Monocytes are white blood cells that convert into two types of macrophages in skin tissue (M1 or M2). M1 will remove debris, pathogens, bacteria and fibrotic tissue, allowing for a new layer of healthy collagen and elastin. M2 send messenger chemicals to stimulate fibroblasts to repair and regenerate the skin and hair follicles.

 RESULTS

Within 30 to 90 days of the first treatment patients should notice small hairs beginning to appear. These improvements can continue for up to 6 months after the last treatment.

Results are gradual and for best results, we recommend 3 to 4 sessions, 4-6 weeks apart.

Treatment results vary depending on your body’s metabolism.

 WHAT TO EXPECT

A blood sample is collected in 1-2 specially designed tubes. The tubes are then centrifuged multiple times using the newest technology allowing the PRP to isolate from other cells within the blood, while simultaneously ensuring the right cells at the right concentration are utilised to deliver effective rejuvenation.

A numbing agent may be applied 15 minutes prior to minimise discomfort.
