WHAT TO EXPECT

Hypersensitivity and/or breakouts, which is usually resolved within one to two days

Mild to moderate erythema, which is usually resolved within one to two days
WHO IS NOT SUITABLE
Anyone who:

Has rosacea

Has eczema, dermatitis or severe telangiectasia on treatment area

Has a healing tattoo on treatment area

Is currently taking or has taken isotretinoin in the past 12 weeks

Has sunburn
-
Is a long term user of cortisone

Has had anti-wrinkle injections within the past week filler injections within the past 2 weeks

MICRODERMABRASION​
HOW IT WORKS
This gently resurfaces the skin by shedding dead skin cells and stimulating new ones in their place.

Microdermabrasion is used to treat the face, neck and décolletage.
TREATMENT PREPARATION
Advise your clinician if you:

Have excessive sun exposure or used a solarium

Use depilatory creams

Have had waxing within the treatment area

Have had laser or IPL treatments within the treatment area

Have had chemical/herbal treatments i.e. AHA peels, enzyme exfoliation therapies
POST TREATMENT CARE

Avoid use of AHA and BHA skincare and scrubs for the first one to two days
-
Wear SPF 50+ daily
FOLLOW UP AND NEXT STEPS
To achieve the best results, an initial course of four to six treatments over the space of one to two weeks are recommended.
