 TREATMENT PREPARATION 

Before your treatment, cease taking photosensitising medications or products that can cause photosensitivity

Advise your clinician if you:

  • Have an autoimmune disease

  • Are taking or have taken Roaccutane within the past 3 months

  • There must be a space of 48 hours between treatments.

 WHAT TO EXPECT 

  • The treatment may involve a gentle exfoliant being applied to your skin before the LED device is placed over the treatment area. The process is comfortable with many clients finding it relaxing and meditative.

  • Warming during the treatment

  • Temporary eye adjustment to colour after certain light waves, which is usually resolved within five minutes
    Mild erythema, which is usually resolved within 30 min

 FOLLOW UP AND NEXT STEPS 

To achieve the best results, an initial course of eight treatments every two days - over four weeks is recommended.

Your next treatment is due within one week.

  • Anyone who is taking photosensitising medications or products that can cause photosensitivity.

  • Has had a LED treatment within the past 48 hours.
