 TREATMENT PREPARATION 

All skins must be primed on the minimum of an Aspect™ Basic Starter Kit (Purastat 5, Exfol L15, Extreme C20 and Phytostat 9) with Sun Protection for between 2 to 4 weeks ideally prior to a peel:

  • To get the most effective even depth

  • To achieve the best results

  • To reduce the risk of unnecessary inflammation, maceration or blanching

 

Note: Regimes may vary depending on skin condition. E.g. Brightening Kit for Hyperpigmentation or Problem Skin Kit for Problematic skin

Note: 20% Lactobotanical is the exception for resilient skin types

 HOW IT WORKS 

The Aspect™ Lactobotanical peel series is a powerful yet gentle and potentially superior alternative to traditional Glycolic Acid peels. The Lactobotanical Peel series is exclusively available to paramedical and medically affiliated practices.

Lactobotanical formulas are a synergistic marriage between chirally correct L- Lactic Acid and the patented Canadian Willowherb™ extract.

Available in 20%, 30% and 40% concentration pH 2.9 - 3.15

 WHAT TO EXPECT 

  • Variable, ranging from no visible peeling to a light to moderate flaking of skin between days 2-7 after the peel.

  • Increase in breakout may be expected with initial treatments and indicates positive progress.

  • Skin may appear flushed and feel tight for several days, and discolorations may temporarily darken before peeling away.

 WHO IS NOT SUITABLE 

  • Patients at risk of post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation and for Fitzpatrick III-VI.
